Cellular Activity Monitor CAM-GX5 is a handheld multi-band cellular signal detector, cell phone detector and GPS tracker detector. Detects 2G 3G 4G & 5G devices, and WiFi & Bluetooth devices. The unit detects and locates transmissions from cellular mobile phone based devices including cell phones, smartphones, GPS trackers, Wi-Fi Hotspots, GSM listening devices (bugs) and covert wireless 3G / 4G / 5G cameras. Ideal for professional TSCM applications as a cell phone detector and GPS tracker detector. And, the CAM-GX5 now has worldwide multi-band coverage.
The CAM GX5 Cellular Activity Monitor detects surreptitious cellular listening devices in any environment where cellular devices are forbidden, such as sensitive meetings. Use the CAM-GX5 to check for unauthorized cell phone usage in exam halls, prisons, hospitals, etc. The CAM-GX5 also detects the latest hidden GPS tracking devices making it ideal for TSCM bug sweep applications. The CAM-GX5 Cellular Activity Monitor has a separate 2.4 GHz band detector and a new 5 GHz band detector to detect the growing threat from Wi-Fi / Bluetooth Store & Forward and Video devices.

The CAM-GX5 cellular activity monitor offers unprecedented levels of detection in a handheld unit and logs all cellular activity within range. Simply select the International region the device is being used in and the CAM-GX5 will detect signals from all the relevant cellular bands. This means the CAM-GX5 is ready for the rollout of the latest 5G devices, worldwide. Of course, all existing 2G, 3G and 4G bands are also covered.
A new powerful high-gain RF front end ensures detection up to 54.7 yards, depending on signal strength and ambient conditions. And, the CAM-GX5 is supplied with a new adjustable hinged antenna design for optimum performance and flexibility.

Simple & Intuitive Keypad Design
CAM-GX5 Cellular Activity Monitor operation is simple and intuitive. User can perform real time detection or to view events that have previously occurred. Individual 20 element signal strength meter provides precise source of a detected signal so it can be located with ease. Audible ‘Beep’ mode allows the user to monitor without looking at the display. Silent Vibrate mode for sensitive areas.

Stores up to 4000 cellular events or viewing as a list or graphically.
For each detected signal (no matter how long or short), the CAM-GX5 records the Time/Date, Duration, Band detected and Signal strength. This can be particularly useful in identifying the type of device being detected. For example: a string of regular short bursts in one particular band may represent those from a GSM/GPS Tracking device.
Note: 600/Band 71 is included in the 700 Band of CAM-GX5, which covers 663 MHz to 716 MHz.
Live Cellular Graph Mode (8 Minutes)
In Graph Mode, lines of regular spacing representing the pulsing nature of the transmission are displayed. Also by looking at call activity at certain times of the day, may help identify unauthorized phone use in sensitive areas.
The entire event log can be downloaded to a USB stick for storage or transfer to a computer where it can be viewed/sorted for analysis or reporting.
